If your dog is not fussy you can usually disguise the tablet in tasty food.

Here are some ideas for hiding tablets in food:

• Whenever you are preparing hidden medication ensure your dog cannot see what you are doing.
• Only use a small amount of food to hide the medication to reduce the chance of them "eating around the medication". The rest of their meal can be given afterwards.
• You can place the tablet hidden inside and then place it in their mouth or food bowl. It can help to give them an "unlaced" piece first to engage their enthusiasm.
• giving a small amount of water via syringe directly after giving the tablet encourages swallowing.
