Bird Native Recovery Centre
Kamo Vets has had a relationship with the Whangarei bird recovery centre run by Robert and Robyn Webb for 20 years now. The bird recovery centre does a wonderful job of caring for all injured birds and they nurse many of them back to health, and once they are ready the birds are then realised back into the wild. We are very privileged to deal with many different native birds that we wouldn’t otherwise encounter and it’s amazing to see all of our different native birds. We are a drop off centre for injured birds that need to be cared for by the Whangarei Bird recovery centre and also care for unwell or injured birds for the Bird recovery centre when necessary.
